Generally a permit is not required to build, use or illuminate a tennis court for private use. Provided the proposed tennis court falls within the requirements detailed in the relevant Code of Practice, a building permit is not required.
However, where a tennis court falls outside of the Code in terms of illumination or there is an overlay in place, a permit will be required.
To establish whether or not a permit is required, contact EGBP who will be able to quickly and professionally advise you of your specific situation.
